The Football Trade Directory (FTD) is a service that bridges the gap between football clubs and the many businesses that support them. Since 2007, when FTD was established, the company have provided an online platform for businesses and football clubs to contact one another; from pitch layers and caterers to sportswear manufacturers and publicity staff, many powerful and successful partnerships have been created via FTD.

FTD host regular Networking Events that continue to grow in popularity. March 2014 saw the first event of the year, which took place at Molineux and was a great success, attracting more than 100 exhibitors and delegates. A follow-up event in Watford increased this figure and the next event, which takes place on Thursday October 16th from 11am-3pm, will see around 200 delegates and exhibitors in attendance.

The venue chosen for the upcoming FTD networking event is Halliwell Jones Stadium. This is the home of Warrington Wolves Rugby Club and so the event will also welcome a host of new delegates from the rugby world, further increasing networking opportunities as the sports have many commonalities. In addition to targeting Football League clubs, FTD are extremely interested in reaching out to amateur and non-league clubs as well.
